The IMPACT Program

As a component of adoption preservation services, the IMPACT Program is designed to address concerning behaviors which have proven particularly disruptive due to their severity, frequency or escalating nature.  Such issues are addressed through an intensive behavioral modification approach designed by the adoption preservation treatment team in conjunction with the family.  The program is implemented by a behavioral specialist through role modeling and coaching of parents.  This may initially include daily contacts with the family during period of time when behaviors are most frequently observed.  This program is designed to last up to three months, but can be extended based on the needs of the family.

Cost for the IMPACT Program is covered for most our of clients through our grant with DCFS for adoptive and subsidized guardianship families.  For families that are not part of our grant funded populations, we can discuss other funding options with you.  If you are interested in participating in IMPACT and want to know if your family qualifies for our services, please contact Paige Lees, Director of Clinical Services, at (217)528-8406.
