The Tree of Wishes is a program of Family Service Center of Sangamon County and has been providing Christmas gifts to individuals in the Springfield area since 1986.

Our program ensures clients from other local agencies as well as our own clients receive a Christmas gift during the holiday season. Together with corporate sponsors, government agencies, businesses, and individuals in our community, the Tree of Wishes makes the holiday season a bit brighter for those in need.

The Family Service Center of Sangamon County begins receiving referrals from community agencies in September each year. Gifts are typically ready to be distributed to recipients mid-December. Volunteers and corporate sponsors are always welcome to join the Family Service Center of Sangamon County through the Tree of Wishes to bring the joy of the holiday season to those in need.
